1. App Tracking
CheckMyWarranty uses secure local storage (AsyncStorage, SQLite, SecureStore) to persist sessions. This is strictly necessary.
We use Sentry and PostHog for crash and usage analytics. These require explicit opt-in consent inside the App (Privacy Center).
2. Website Tracking
Our marketing website (checkmywarranty.app) loads analytics and advertising tools only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. Until you choose, and if you click Decline, these tools stay switched off. The tools are managed through Google Tag Manager.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google): measures which pages are visited and how visitors reach the app-store download buttons, so we can understand and improve the website. It sets cookies and receives your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you view.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms): records page views and clicks on our download and invitation buttons so we can measure advertising and, in future, show our ads to people who visited the website. It sets cookies and shares these events with Meta together with browser identifiers.
We do not send your name, email address, phone number, warranty or document data, or referral codes to either service from the website. Both companies process this data under their own privacy terms: Google and Meta. See also our Sub-processors Registry.
Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage so we do not ask you again. To change it, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also block third-party cookies in your browser or use Meta's and Google's own ad-preference controls.
