    • 30-day grace period: you can cancel the deletion by signing back in. After this window your authentication record is removed and personal identifiers are anonymised.
    • Attachments, vault files and reminders: permanently deleted from live systems following the timelines in the Data Retention Policy.
    • Warranty records: soft-deleted records are purged from all systems within 365 days where applicable.
    • Encrypted backups: residual copies are overwritten on the standard backup rotation.
    • Anonymised consent records: retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable law, with no personal identifiers.

Deleting specific items without closing your account

You do not need to delete your entire account to remove specific data. Individual warranties, vault documents and reminders can be deleted from within the app at any time from each item's detail screen.
